Morghan Rake Coffee Roasters is an independent sole proprietorship located in the historic Effort House in Effort, Pa..  Built in 1870, this second empire Victorian stagehouse hotel is steeped in local history and folklore.  This splendid building is a renovation-in- progress, and a perfect showcase for our traditional, second generation coffee roasting business, as well as our Ballroom Antiques.

   We offer a large selection of various single origin, blended, & flavored coffees, all of which we roast on site in our Victorian era roasters, together with an extensive & constantly growing selection of fine teas, coffee & tea accessories, chocolate covered espresso beans & locally produced honey. Here one can find a unique & varied selection of locally sourced products from the immediate Pocono Mountains area. Our Ballroom Antiques is an ever changing and evolving selection of select pieces from the past. And yes, we roast peanuts too!
